As another data point: From a border router to a
couple of low volume web sites from a "sh ip acce"
command (cisco), some of the output is:
Extended IP access list 102
...<snip>...
deny tcp any any eq 137
deny tcp any any eq 138
deny tcp any any eq 139 log
deny udp any any eq netbios-ns (86271 matches)
deny udp any any eq netbios-dgm
deny udp any any eq 139
...<snip>...
This router was rebooted about two months ago and
I'm still telneted in to it and another sh ip acce
produces:
deny udp any any eq netbios-ns (86309 matches)
Sigh.
