Of course you can install Check Point FireWall-1
without any formal training. I have installed and
supported several hundred Check Point installs and
never attended class. One good book is the Check Point
FireWall-1 Administration Guide by Marcus Conclaves @
Steven Brown. It covers a lot of material.
