Yes. Napster port scans to figure out the best way to facilitate
communications between your PC and a remote PC. Besides the default ports
I've seen communication take place using ports 80,20,21, and 23. Napster
will use whatever opening it can find. It's very robust...

Subject: Re: [fw-wiz] Napster Access

I am not sure if anyone know this. I installed Napster once
and was port
scanned by an IP belonging to to Napster range of IPs. This was caught
by my honeypot and I deleted the program from my hard disk
immediately.

Anyone care to verify this ?

Cheers
Alex

Hi all;
I know this has been answered many times, however I failed
to pay attention
to it.
Alot of users in my organization are using Napster for
extremely long
periods; how would I go about blocking their access so
users could not
access their music files etc?

Any help/comments/webpages would be appreciated!
