Brad,

Some firewall products will do everything after you install the OS, and it
also depends on what firewall product you are planning on running.

That apart, there is some information on the CERT web site about how to
secure a Solaris server and client --> www.cert.org (can't recall the exact
URL, but it is a couple of their education modules)
