I am building on Solaris7 on a clean machine and found it was neccessary to change the installation order a bit. For example the perl, db, and other apps under fastserv need to be installed first. There were some paths and duplicate definitions that needed correction. I have been taking careful notes. I am currently stuck on some of the c++ compile errors in fastresolve itself. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You might want to join the T.REX mailing list. There's a friend of mine who is also trying to it to build on Solaris 7 x86 who has started a discussion there. To subscribe to the T.REX mailing list, send an email with the subject and body of "subscribe trex-list" to listserv () opensourcefirewall com. To un-subscribe, just change the "subscribe" to "unsubscribe." (I say both subject and body because I've seen instructions that say each. Might as well play it safe.)
