I was testing this problem and also had mail problems, but we think it had alot
to do with the way our network is setup. To answer your question on whether you
need an internal DNS - YES you do. I worked with IBM a little and this is
something you definitely need with this product.

Subject: [fw-wiz] Please Help Me

I have IBM secureway firewall on NT but I have some
problems. After days of trying to configure it. I kept
the connetions made by default by the wizzard. (Secure
Net to World, Non Secure Interface To World, Secure
Net to Secure Interface nd Wizzard Security Police)

I have HTTP on my secure net, but I cant send nor
recieve mails.
What kind of rules do I have to apply or create?
What is the dufference between SOCKS and PROXY?
Do I need to have an internal secure DNS?
Is there somewhere where I can look up some rules that
will work on my net?

Please help me Thanks a lot.
