I have never heard of such thing. I'd say the reason for why there arent
attacks at the border level is because people who use BGP, purchase ASN's,
and deal with routing on a global level have to also sign contracts to
proper usage and those people doing the signing of contracts for usage at
that kind of level are not teenagers with nothing more to do then cause
problems... There is huge liability at that level and any sort of mis-usage
I;m sure would probably elicit the soft careful hand of the FBI (did you
smell the sarcasm there). Anyways - I'd be VERY interested in what kinds of
problems you are experiencing at the border level. You realize that with
full logging turned on any attack can be scrutinized to find out almost
exactly who it is doing the attack...

Does anybody know of any papers, test or other resources about attacks
against BGP in large scale networks?
