This is no act (law) but a standard from the British Standards
Institution at
              BSI
              389 Chiswick High Road
              London
              W4 4AL

Phone +44 81 9969001 as printed, probably now +44 208 9969001.

The standards are available for money and usually come in "parts"
which are related documents perhaps giving a different level view
of something.

BS7799 is called "Information security management"

Part 1 is called "Code of practice for information security management"
and is not a standard as such.

Part 2 is called "Specification for information security management systems".
