Hello All I am now faced with a decision, I am ready to buy hardware, so that I can study for my CCNA. I want to simulate a WAN. In order of expense, I am looking at Option 1) Two CISCO 1005's with a serial cable between them Option 2) Two CISCO 1601's with a serial cable between them Option 3) Two Cisco 1605's with an Ethernet cable between them. Will one of these options be adequate to CCNA study? What are the pros and cons of each? What software feature level for IOS should I get? Do I need the "firewall feature set?" Am I headed in the right direction? Any tips, suggestions, or flames? Alan R.
