You[1] have come to a list full of, supposed, firewall admins and asked how to circumvent the security policies that your firewall admin has put in place. At the risk of this post never getting posted, I would hope that no one here would offer even the slightest of assistance to you. How to get around the blocking? Go talk to your firewall admin, instead of trying to go around them. There is a business reason they are doing what they are doing. If you can prove a business need for AIM, they might open it back up again. If you can't, then you have no business using it in the first place (yes, I am assuming that this is work based on (a) your email address, (b) the fact that I can think of no ISP that would block anything you weren't paying to happen, thus your ISP sounds much more like your employer to me). Thanks. Wes Noonan, MCSE/CCNA/CCDA/NNCSS Senior QA Rep. BMC Software, Inc. If by "ISP" you mean the k12.ca.us domain you posted the above from, isn't that a school network?
