Intrusion Detection books

Hello,

I am going to start a literature analysis for my Master Thesis in the field of Distributed Intrusion Detection Systems. 
Because of so trivial reason as lack of money, I can afford only for one/two original books to buy on amazon or another 
bookstore. 

Could you give me some hints about good titles which will discuss these problems (I am interested mainly in the 
history, theory and some formal models for dIDS). Thank you very much!
