what's annoying is that they think kids are that stupid and simplistic in the first place, and that in fact they want
people to be simplistic and see things in black and white. i wonder if they see the irony of the carnivore and other
such systems, which usually don't remove data, but certainly violate privacy and commit the very same crimes they say
you should not. the fbi and cia hack into every system they can, including other government agencies like social
security, and they hack into medical records when they want, sure it's legal, but does that make it any less wrong and
repellent? isn't it specifically the government and private business that most people want to protect their medical
and financial information from? those are the only people i care about, my friends already know, any employer i
remotely trust knows (my last employer certainly did, because i trusted him and i made that decision).

what about when an employer monitors your private email, even if it's only to other people in the same company, what if
it's not your boss but his boss looking to cause your boss problems or some other person who has authority or simply
access and decides to abuse it? it's usually still "legal". any one who thinks that the legal and "justice" systems
have any thing remotely in common with what is right and wrong or "just" should really, really open their eyes, before
the door gets busted in at 3 am, flash/bangs are shot in causing them to void their blatter and bowel, and they are
staring at a shotgun held by a jack booted thug!

trust must be earned, and maintained, the government, law enforcement, and the "DOJ" certainly have done very, very
little to earn that from the average citizen, they rule like war lords by the projection of power and the threat of
punishment. sure, we have elections, but how many candidates have you seen that you actually wanted in power? nearly
none, the honest and thoughtful ones are rooted out early in the process. those that take corporate money and then
don't serve their corporate masters are soon eliminated, through perfectly "legal" means. those that truly, truly
serve the people have nearly no chance as the interest of the people are fundamentally in opposition to the interest of
the corporate world and the power structure itself.

have you ever seen the tape of the sting against marion barry? the ho repeatedly tried to get him to smoke crack and
he kept refusing, she finally forced him to smoke if he wanted sex, if that's not entrapment and proof that the man
actually had stopped smoking crack i don't know what is. how many men can resist an attractive woman in a room when
they think they are alone even if that woman wants them to violate their own beliefs? is this a fair test of
innocence, or just a bunch of gangsters making themselves work by converting now law abiding citizens in to criminals
by whatever means necessary? doesn't that make those running the sting the true criminals?

what business does the fbi have trying to teach children to be law abiding and "honest" when they constantly violate
the law, the constitution, and what is clearly right all the time? hypocrisy hardly seems and adequate term.

and, more to the point, how can private networks possibly be secure when government agencies try to break in to them
just in case there's something interesting or they decide they "need" access later? clearly the most criminal and
successful "hackers" are those on the government payroll and clearly they are the largest threat to security, computer,
physical, and otherwise. how can systems be secure when we know the nsa corrupted a swiss encryption company and got
back doors into the "most secure" systems of over 100 nations? does any one think they don't have back doors in a lot
of software? obviously if a back door exist, it can be found, particularly if it's ever used, you can just watch the
data stream when someone else uses it and know all you need to know to use it on that system or any similar system.
that's not security, and it's not freedom and democracy, it's cloaked oppression and fascism pure and simple. we know
the fbi and others have abused their access to!
information, for political reasons, and individual agents have even used it to black mail people and corporations,
and just how do you fight such abuse when you allow "legit" access? people are flawed, give them power without
adequate supervision and control and you will always get abuse and rogues, and even rogue agencies and groups who only
claim a government connection but really function independently and effectively untouchably?

do you think you can trust the police? did you know that amongst blue collar workers they have the highest rate of
child molestation? a high rate of alcohol and other addictions? violent and abusive tendencies? not all of course,
some are truly good, but it only takes a few bad cops to make the whole thing a problem rather than a solution.

seriously, you should read some of the "DOJ" newsletters and publications, the way some of the people think and are
willing to put into print is truly alarming, and often even shows ignorance and incompetence.
