Well, their list isn't very good is it. Inept would be a nice word
       to apply in this context.

       duplicates. broken urls. zero housekeeping.
all sorts of poker urls, what was that about gambling again?
Lots of the domains they list are now on domain fleecers too.

I get the impression there's some confusion going on here. My guess is
that the list on wikileaks has come from one of the free software
filters provided by the govt., which are targeted at parent's
protecting their children from the evils on the big bad web.

I don't believe it's the same as the "secret blacklist" that is sent
to ISP's. Even the number of entries don't add up. I could be wrong
though, it's wouldn't be the first time :)

With regards to what is on the list, someone from the ACMA pointed out
elsewhere, that the sites on the list are there because the ACMA has
received an official complaint and the site has been subsequently
investigated by the ACMA content assessment team.

The ACMA staff member also raised an interesting point that I hadn't
previously thought about:

"there are things you can't un-see, these people must see them every
day" (re: the content assessment team).

We all know there's some terrible stuff on the www, I can't imaging
having to look at it on a daily basis. I'm still scarred from the
first time I got rickrolled with goatse :(
