He is so right about that festering piece of crap though. The nicest thing I can think of saying about it is I am happy I never had to pay for that.
I've been Norton Free for quite a while, Alex's Vipre has been serving well for some time now (and AVG before...).
Norton has always been the perfect example of the worst of security, imo. Lumpy, intrusive, impossible to uninstall...
If in fact it is the best thing since sliced bread it looses more points than it gains in my eyes for being too much
trouble to tolerate - leading to asnine articles like the one that started this thread and therefore a net loss in
security across the board.
