Having recently watched the "Smug Storm" episode of South Park with my kids and explained to them the incredible evil 
of smugness, my nine-year-old daughter now thumbs-ups every hybrid she sees ("good fer you!") and pointed out last

Apples are the Hybrid of the computer world.  Yes, they are Very Nice.  And we really are impressed that you have one.  
And, yes, I hear that they can even run most applications these days.
