Twitter and t.co

Twitter is unreachable (for me) at the moment.

Interestingly, the first indication that I had of this was that, quite suddenly, almost 
none of the links from Twitter postings worked anymore.  Twitter now 
"shortens" just about every link submitted via it's own t.co.  Definitely a single 
point of failure.
