There is reason to believe that many spammers have progressed from webpage
trawling to watching the backscatter of various e-mail based worms (I know I
certainly got enough Sobig-F with what were certainly spammer e-mail addresses,
which implies that a lot of Sobig-F also went to spammer addresses with my
e-mail address on it...

What do you think? Anything I'm overlooking there?

If there's a spammer who doesn't wash the addresses, you're looking at the
possibility of getting deluged under spam to the fake addresses....
