Evaluating IDS's

Does anyone keep an archive of the list posts? If so, has anyone got a copy
of Marcus Ranum's 'how to cook a benchmark'? It would be greatly appreciated
if someone could dig it out... Alternatively, if someone has a good
reference to IDS benchmarks ????
