Erik,
The RealSecure code base is identical on both NT and Solaris. Both have the
same signatures, responses, etc. With each new release of RealSecure both
NT and Solaris are released at the same time and with the same
functionality. As one of the Technical Product Managers of RealSecure I
would be interested why your Engineer felt that RealSecure is less
effective on Unix? If you have any further questions please feel free to
contact me.
Thanks
John

Hi everyone,
I'm currently evaluating IDSs, and was told today by one of my software
engineers that RealSecure is primarily an NT solution and isn't nearly as
effective for UNIX. Does anyone have any knowledge wether or not this is
true?
Thanks in advance,
