Archive: http://msgs.securepoint.com/ids FAQ: http://www.ticm.com/kb/faq/idsfaq.html IDS: http://www-rnks.informatik.tu-cottbus.de/~sobirey/ids.html UNSUBSCRIBE: email "unsubscribe ids" to majordomo () uow edu au yeah, and maybe they could add a special text string so that it gets tracked as to the number of times it gets sent around, and some wealthy billionaire will contribute a nickel for each and every time it was sent to this kids hospital fund.... it's not far from it what i'm getting at is that there's so much of this type of stuff just floating around and everyone just clicking on the forward button because it seems like a worthy post .... is it real ? who knows ? i'm not going to take the time to find out, especially since it been forwarded sooo many times that one - well, it looks like it might be real, but two- no one has ever cared to clean it up and its rather difficult to read. it just gets frustrating when you see similar stuff that's typical hoax/chain mail getting forwarded around in your regular mail, it shouldn't get posted to a list, but if it did, i'd at least hope that it was a firsthand post or at least the poster verified it. cy bear wrote:
I disagree. In some situation I see this type of posting as completely proper. Think about your post the next time that you are in a situation were you are in need of help and don't know where to turn. ------------------------------------------------------------ Email account furnished courtesy of AntiOnline - http://www.AntiOnline.com AntiOnline - The Internet's Information Security Super Center!
