Has any one tested CyberCop Monitor against the ISS RealSecure product, and
if so which did you like better and why? We are evaluating both right now.

Hello all,

CyberCop Monitor 2.5 is due out on the 30th of March. Until then, I
offer to anyone in the community who asks eval versions (30 day) of both the
CyberCop Monitor intrusion detection software and the CyberCop Scanner
vulnerability assessment tool.

For those of you in the .edu space (CONUS) that have concerns over
being leveraged in DDoS attacks, Network Associates is offering a FREE one
year license for a fully functional CyberCop Scanner. Thsi ver detects the
zombies and over 700 other vulnerabilities. Even if only for its value as a
CBT, this stuff is great. Drop me a mail with your snail mail address and
we'll get it to ya.

MJ

Does anyone have any news on what's happening with CyberCop Monitor 2.5? It
was announced last November or December, Network Associates had its
datasheet on the web but the product was not ready apparently. Information
on 2.5 is much harder (if possible at all) to find now on their web site.
Their sales department has not answered emails on when the new release is
out.

Cheers,
Razvan
