Yes. In fact, I don't think there's any reason why you couldn't
have several of them, if you wanted. You could have one machine
running the console GUI (actually, you can have several of those, too!)
and another doing nothing but pulling things into ODBC and running
Crystal Reports, and (if you wanted) another pulling it into PERL.
Why limit yourself?

So many choices, so many choices... ;)
