Bryan,

Who do you contact in situations of foreign based intrusion
such as this?

Contact your local FBI field office. You can find this at
www.fbi.gov/contact/fo/fo.htm.

Provided you're in the US. If not you may want to contact your National
FIRST Team for more information. I suspect at the least they can tell you
who the appropriate law enforcement agencies are.

A list of FIRST Teams is available via:

http://www.first.org

They can put you in touch with the NIPC (National Infrastructure Protection
Center)and the Infragard program. I usually skip CERT and go to these guys
when there are international sourced attempts hitting my network.

I'm actually curious to see if people here actually contact CERT/CC on a
regular basis. How responsive are they? I have never actually reported a
break-in to them, just vulnerabilities. I am very curious about their
level of service.
