I agree.

I went off on a rant a while back on this list (I think) about @home and
their lack of caring about their customers actions. I hate to say this or
even condone it, but maybe its time people started taking care of these
idiots with cable modems ouselves. Seeing how @home doesn't care and
all....

Just my $.02

You know, there are some legitimate users out here on their cables like
myself. I have delt with @Homes abuse/lack of response for a long time
myself and have a cable from them but I do NOT condone their lack of
response. They're very large and it's difficult for them to act on every
situation just as it is with other providers. However, I do understand
@home may be a bit worse than most. You have no idea who has a cable from
@Home and you never know, if something is done to block 24* from doing
things, however that may be, you could also be blocking those who are
trying to bring some of the abusers, script kiddies, packet warriors and
the likes down and prosecute them. Take that for what it's worth ;)

little being done. IMHO, @Home's network is poorly managed and their
support is next to useless. Unfortunately for me, DSL is not an option at
this time.

                           on refrigerators." - Steven Wright
