not only did I/my mail
server have a rare increase of spam; the new spam messages seemed to
pass through the filters I have in place.

have you been able to identify how the spam bypassed filter?

~Andy

In fact, could those of you have posted "odd spam, maybe worm, bypassed
filter" perhaps supply us with examples of the spam content, what kind
of filter you run, why you believe this particular spam menace is unusual,
etc.

Or, context, as I like to call it.

Pretty please ? Otherwise this thread really amounts to little more
than "I saw spam!", "me to", "AOL!", which is sad, as it may well be
that very useful information is being developed.

Just my $LOCAL_CURRENCY 0.02, no offence meant :-)
