During the week of Nov. 15th at Comdex in Las Vegas
McCaw Cellular Wireless Division demonstrated the first
live CDPD network.


Applications included:
        - Well Known Internet Services
                - Telnet
                - FTP
                - Wais
                - Chelo
                -Ping
                - ....
        - Electronic Mail
                - POP based agents
                - IMAP based agents
                - SMTP (native and gateways)
        - Credit Card Authorization
        - Position Tracking Systems
                A truck equipped with GPS and CDPD network
                interface travelling in Las Vegas was monitored at
                the show floor.
        - Vending Machine Reporting its inventory and status
        - ....
