I also have a 709/7090 simulator in fairly portable C. On a 486 based PC, it runs about as fast as the 709. It passes all the 709 diagnostics, but doesn't pass some of the 7090/94 IO diagnostics and won't boot IBSYS yet. I can make it all available to anyone who wants to play with it or fix it up. You will need your own 7090/94 Principles of Operation to get anywhere with it (that ought to keep the requests down to a low roar.)
