Dave,

I received the following email, shared it with some friends, and
someone suggested I forward it to you. Two other banks on our
network, and one museum, got the same message, but it wasn't
particularly funny to them. This one was.

I'd enjoy hearing how Microsoft Internet solutions can help increase
business for the First Bank of the United Stats -- business hasn't
been the same since Congress voted to close the bank in 1811...

Nate.

Dear Webmaster at First Bank of the United States,

I just checked out your site http://www.libertynet.org/iha/_1bank.html - it
is cool!
Isn't it amazing how the Internet is opening up new channels for delivery of
banking services?

Are you aware that Microsoft is very actively involved in bringing out
products
and programs that can help your web site become an even cooler, and yet
more cost effective destination on the Web? Microsoft technology that is
available for you to use includes the Internet Explorer, with cool HTML tags
including background colors in tables, background sound, inline AVIs and
more. Also included is the Internet Information Server, an industrial
strength,
easy-to-use and manage, http server now part of Windows NT, bringing you all
the cost advantages of a PC based solution.

If you would like more information on our products, and our services to help
you
incorporate them and further differentiate your site, simply reply to this
email. I
will be happy to follow up with you.

Regards,
