A college student named John Abercrombie registers
a Web address for Abercrombie.net and gets a letter
from the legal department of upscale clothier
Abercrombie & Fitch. A 12-year-old boy, ``Pokey,''
sets up a Web site bearing his lifelong nickname and
is warned off by the legal department of the makers
of the rubbery animated figures Gumby and Pokey.
