As you may be aware, Japan passed a digital signature law last May.
Implementing   regulations/ordinances were issued recently and are
available for public comments due December 18.   The US  Embassy Tokyo
has just completed an unofficial translation of the key sections of the
regulations/ ordinances which is attached below.   Also below is a link to
the English version of the original law.  Comments may be submitted by
