All of the major news organizations have been publishing information about
an intruder that stole 300,000 credit card numbers from the online music
retailer, CD Universe. They've been telling people about a webpage set up by
the intruder that gave away nearly 25,000 of those numbers. Now, here's what
they haven't been telling you.

AntiOnline began an extensive investigation into this case early this week.
Individuals don't steal credit card numbers to give them away. They steal
them to make money. Plain and simple. This case holds true to that.

The intruder, who goes by the handle Maxus, set up a webpage late in
December that "gave away" credit card numbers from the CD Universe database.
But, as AntiOnline was quick to find out, this webpage was far less a gift
to international carders (carders are individuals who fraudulently use
credit cards for their own gain), and far more an advertisement for goods.

Quickly after the original website went up, an on-line guestbook that was
part of the page became plastered with the handles and e-mail addresses of
individuals who wanted more credit card numbers. Maxus, and his partners,
were more than happy to contact them. However, this time, it would cost
them.

Maxus' credit fraud operation has 4 parts to it.
