This is going to be a good test case for the authority of the university. My take is that given the clarification that the FCC issued in June over just who has authority over unlicensed spectrum and devices (they do), then the university is going out on a limb with this attempt to restrict the students rights to access the spectrum. This will undoubtedly end up in court and so it should as the results will cause the unintended effects of the FCC ruling to be more widespread. DLH]
