Perhaps of interest to IP.

Two or three times each year GLOCOM publishes a journal of research  
papers, opinion pieces, interviews and meeting reports about ICT  
issues in Japan.  We have begun translating selected pieces, starting  
with eight articles from various back numbers.

The works range from discussion of the popular Japanese P2P file  
sharing software Winny, to interviews with two of Japan's leading game  
developers and an evaluation of Japan's gaming market, a review of SNS  
in Japan, and two papers about the Japanese and international software
