Problem with cygwin1.dll ver 1.5.18

Hello guys,
I needed install a later version of cygwin1.dll (ver 1.5.18) in the same
windows system I'm running Metasploit 2.4 and now I'm getting an error
message about incompatibility with this file. As fas as I could see
Metaspoit uses 1.5.16 and putting 1.5.18 shouldn't be a problem.. any tips ?
