I just tested it and HD is right the stable version has that number of exploit, to get the dev version run BT4 or install Ubuntu and run sudo apt-get install build-essential sudo apt-get install subversion sudo apt-get install libssl-dev sudo apt-get install libsqlite-dev libsqlite3-dev sudo apt-get install ruby libruby rdoc libyaml-ruby libzlib-ruby libopenssl-ruby libdl-ruby libreadline-ruby libiconv-ruby libgtk2-ruby libglade2-ruby ruby1.8-dev rubygems libhpricot-ruby libsqlite3-ruby nmap sudo gem install activerecord cd ~ svn co http://metasploit.com/svn/framework3/trunk/ msf3 cd ~/msf3 svn update cd external/pcaprub; ruby extconf.rb; make sudo make install I strongly suggest that you use linux for testing and using Metasploit since it is developed and tested primarily for Linux. Oh yeah. One more thing. How do I secure myself a copy of Metasploit

the version as 3.3-dev, you have the right tree (dev), however
the raw

running MSF in
BackTrack4 to play with the raw IP modules.

I think its the stable tree.
So, I assume that if I am using the 3.2 stable tree there are
320 exploits, and 99 auxiliary modules?
I'll be downloading Back-Track 4 when the stable version is
released.
