metasploit http server

Hi
I create index.html containing a link to the file, which is in the same
directory as the index.html itself.
in msfconsole
use auxiliary / server / capture / http
set TEMPLATE path / index.html
run

When browser connect to this server, the page opens, but when clicked the
link the page just reloads and file not downloaded.
If right-click on the link and select "Save Target As ...", then saved the
only index.html, but not file.
If you open the page in a browser directly from the disk (file-> open), then
click file link - save dialog opens, ie everything works as expected.
What's the problem download file via the server?
