can any body faced same problem,

please help,

with nessus, Zenmap, i am able to find OS version . is there any way or
commands to find version of application running at target. like ms
office(2000,2003,2007,2010) Adobe version, Winamp version, etc.which helps
in selecting the appropriate exploit listing from database.
