There was once this fellow that spun a story about space travel... how
great and how much it'd be
good... and then, apparently, after talking about this for nye on 10
years that person suddenly had
orbital mechanics explained to them...

I imagine that a similar case is happening with the senator... Also,
also your 'gotta repair a harddrive' costs
suddenly got very much more expensive.
