The 2026 State of Network Automation Survey is NOW OPEN

Hello NANOG!

It is that time of year again, for the fourth year in a row -- it's time
for everyone who operates a network to weigh in on the State of Network
Automation survey.

This survey focuses on tracking industry trends and adoption patterns over
time.

There is no automation experience required to take the survey. We want to
know if the network you work on has 0 automation just as much as we want to
know if it has a bunch.

We do want respondents (or their tools) to have enable/edit/write access to
a production network. This is a survey for network operators. If you do not
currently operate a network, you can help by sharing the survey with
friends/family/colleagues who do!

For consistency, almost all of the questions are exactly the same as last
year -- this allows accurate trend tracking.
