** Get involved in the NANOG Mentorship Program
------------------------------------------------------------
Whether you're early in your career or a seasoned operator, the NANOG
Mentorship Program has a place for you.

Mentors meet with one or more mentees at least once a month for 45
minutes to an hour, helping with career development, networking,
public speaking, and leadership. If you've built expertise worth
sharing, this is how you pass it on.

Mentees drive the partnership, coming prepared, setting goals, and
making the most of their mentor's time. The program runs up to four
months and combines in-person and virtual meetups.

** Support a board candidate before Oct. 19
------------------------------------------------------------
Five candidates are running for the NANOG Board of Directors in the
2026 election: Tom Beecher, Marlin Martes, Michael Still, Adair
Thaxton, and Jiahong (Jenny) Zhang. Statements of support are open now
through October 19.

Candidates will make short in-person presentations at NANOG 98 on
October 20. Voting opens the same day and closes October 26, with
results announced by October 28.
