Hi, I used the following tool to check the memory leak of nmap http://www.codeproject.com/tools/leakfinder.asp in windows system. I am attaching the snippets from the memory leak report generated by the above tool. The actual report is huge(2MB) and please let me know if anyone is interested, I can send it. The report was generated when the nmap-3.77 is run to scan one node(nmap -O -F -oN out.nmap 192.168.1.20). The attached patch(.memleak.patch) has the code change to fix these memory leaks. All the memory leaks that I found occurred when the nmap completed successfully. I could not try all the error cases, where nmap exits due to error conditions. Please let me know if there are any issues. Thanks, Ganga
