I have installed and played around with it on my Powerbook (running
10.4.2) using the most recent gcc (as far as the updates go):

gcc version 4.0.0 20041026 (Apple Computer, Inc. build 4061)

and I have not run into any problems. I did not try to build NmapFE
and I have not used every feature but so far so good. I have tried the
send_ip option that I have seen people erroring out on without any
issues.
