If you wish to have a bugless version, put your developer hat on and start
contributing patches to fix the issues that you are running into.

You could be a bit more grateful to others and it was YOUR choice to go with
a version 1.0 of MS software. All people know that the issues you are
running into are to be expected if you attempt to run everything you had
previously on your new Vista platform.

Even some of the MS software does not work on Vista.

Subject: Nmap doesn't work on Vista Ultimate Edition

dnet: Failed to open device eth ..

This is the error I'm getting on Vista Ultimate Edition when I try to scan a
remote host with nmap. The error is old and I see that it still hasn't been
solved. I have a friend that has the same problem. We both have UAC OFF.

Does anyone have any idea on how to get around this issue until the
developers of nmap create a bugless version?
