Zenmap - Maimon Scan

For us lazy people using Zenmap/Windows, and the Nmap Command Construction Wizard, the -sM option is not available in 
the list of TCP scans. It can be added in the profile editor under Other/Extra Options Defined by User. Is this by 
design or omission?
