Hello, I am emailing you maybe not necessarily a bug, but a problem.I
downloaded the installer and had C++ Redistributable 2008 installed before
that and ran it. I got an error while executing vcredist_x86.exe. The error
message says:
Microsoft C++ Redistributable Package failed to install (C:\Program
Files\Nmap\vcredist_x86.exe). Please ensure your system meets the minimum
system requirements and try again.
My system meets the minimum (most likely, since a friend with a laptop could
run it). I click ok, and it continues and completes. Everything seemed fine
until I ran Nmap and clicked scan. I tried it with intense scan, then all
the other scans, and got this same error: "Zenmap has required an error and
needs to close"
It still remains open, but when I click scan again, I get the same error. I
have no idea why.
