NCrack is being run on Windows XP SP3 installed with the Alpha version of
the windows installer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,
have you tried downloading the latest Ncrack version from the svn repository?
Another problem might be that you are trying Ncrack against SSHv1 servers, which
it currently doesn't support. I remember some other folks had reported the same
error and it happened on that particular occasion.

A temporary workaround so as not to crash the entire cracking session would be to
separate your SSHv2 and SSHv1 scans (nmap -sV would certainly help here) and skip
any SSHv1 ones.

As soon as I finish with the university exams, I plan on continuing working on this and
other promised Ncrack features.
