Aloha! I was giving nmap 5.21 a thorough beating the other day and found a noteworthy bug. When running the following commands: "nmap -sS -sU -T4 -A -v -PE -PP -PS21,22,23,25,80,113,3133 -PA80,113,443,10042 -PO --script all ***.***.*.**E -PP -PS21,22,23,25,80,113,31339" on my Slackware 13 box, a Segmentation Fault is returned immediately after NSE starts. The fault occurs each time I run these commands. I haven't taken the time to associate the error with a specific function (I haven't really looked into it at all), but I'm sure it won't take long to figure out.
Shawn,
Could you clarify those command lines for us? Is that 3 separate command
lines or one long one? If it is one, I can tell you that there are two -PS entries
which is invalid. Also, what it the intent of the " ***.***.*.**E" part of the
command line?
Thanks much,
Tom
