Windows self scan workaround

In the description it mentions that self scanning is not supported on Windows machines, but there is a workaround for
this, correct me if I'm wrong. I connected my machine to a router, both wired and wirelessly and have 2 IP's for
example my Ethernet is 192.168.1.6 and my wireless is 192.168.1.37, then I scan 192.168.1.1-100 and it returns the
error for the wired IP and scans the wireless. If I'm providing wrong information please let me know, because I'm
looking at my scan results and it looks like a good workaround. Thanks.
