Hello, I work in a Windows 2005/2008, and Windows XP environment and I am having problems running Nmap. It is a weird kind of problem, Nmap will run fine when I install it on my Windows XP machines, but after a week or more when I try to run it I get this error message: 'nmap' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. The Environment Variable is set properly. I try to run it from the Nmap folder but the result is the same. However, when I uninstall and reinstall it Nmap works fine. I have bought the Nmap book (NMAP Network Scanning) to see if the solution is in there but to no avail. I have also googled the issue and also checked the Nmap website but have not been able to find a solution. Can you help me please? Thanks, Augustine _______________________________________________ Sent through the nmap-dev mailing list http://cgi.insecure.org/mailman/listinfo/nmap-dev Archived at http://seclists.org/nmap-dev/
