I've updated our version of the WinPcap installer to support 4.1.2, but before I commit anything to SVN I thought I'd ask other people to give the updated installer a try.
Thanks Rob, that is some fast work! I tried your winpcap-nmap-4.12.exe installer on my Windows 7 64-bit VM and it worked great (it was like a fresh install since I had deleted 4.11 previously). Next I rebuild the Nmap installer after extracting your winpcap.zip over a fresh SVN checkout. I had to also update all instances of "winpcap-nmap-4.11.exe" in mswin32/nsis/Nmap.nsi. I was glad to see that David's compression changes are still in your version and didn't get lost in the shuffle. The new version worked fine. So unless anyone discovers any problems, I'd say it is ready to commit. But please wait until a solution is confirmed for the Win7 interface issue that Luis and David are working on. We don't want to add another variable to that mix.
